Jeremy Lane was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Pipis Karapatakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pipis Karapatakis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jeremy Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Grêmio FBPA got a corner. FalconsB FCB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeremy Lane. That made the score 4-0 after 22 minutes of play. After 26 minutes FalconsB FCB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Estevon who took care of the corner kick. Darío Pereyra was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jeremy Lane made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Pipis Karapatakis sent off a good shot on target. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Lane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Pipis Karapatakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Lane having to interfere. Diamantino Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Joaquin Porfirio succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. A collision led to FalconsB FCB getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lino Oro hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Jakue to make the kick off. FalconsB FCB's Jeremy Lane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, FalconsB FCB's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Jeremy Lane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Darío Pereyra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FalconsB FCB the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pipis Karapatakis in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Lane saved FalconsB FCB from getting behind. Grêmio FBPA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
