But to his dismay, Erik Vihonský quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, A Veces Menos Es Mas's Zacharias Iosifakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Sjöö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kjell Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Iosifakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curiphila Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toño Saura was slow to take the kick. During this time A Veces Menos Es Mas's players had a chance to rest. A Veces Menos Es Mas's Toño Saura was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kjell Sjöö in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacharias Iosifakis in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute A Veces Menos Es Mas were awarded a corner. Toño Saura went to the cornerflag to take it. 唐鸿坚 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 唐鸿坚 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Kjell Sjöö made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Zacharias Iosifakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Sjöö. Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacharias Iosifakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Vihonský in the 39th minute of play forced A Veces Menos Es Mas's goalkeeper Genílson Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, 狄珂益 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacharias Iosifakis struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Kjell Sjöö didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A Veces Menos Es Mas. 47 minutes into the game, Zacharias Iosifakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kjell Sjöö was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacharias Iosifakis to make the kick off. Zacharias Iosifakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 52nd minute Zacharias Iosifakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacharias Iosifakis couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Lúcio Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curiphila Eagles made a substitution. Nico Cunha replaced 尤奕景. A Veces Menos Es Mas's 于耀延 was substituted for Ondino Asenjo. After taking down the ball on A Veces Menos Es Mas's corner Jacobo Winograd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kjell Sjöö quite easily take care of the ball. With an all-out effort, Curiphila Eagles's Genílson Loyola threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lúcio Sá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Genílson Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Sá in the 78th minute of the match. Gonzalo Mogel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Sjöö read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Kjell Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Mogel in the 86th minute of play. The A Veces Menos Es Mas fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when A Veces Menos Es Mas's Gonzalo Mogel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Curiphila Eagles's Téo Vianna was substituted for Vince Van Hooveldt. Gustavo Reis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jacobo Winograd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curiphila Eagles's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
