Albano Bertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zavier Wagner having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Pepe Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodovico Javia. Zavier Wagner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Beltran in the 10th minute of the match. After 20 minutes Independiente's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ander Mees who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ander Mees almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Independiente's Pepe Santoro did a great save. In the 25th minute Isidoro Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zavier Wagner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Ciano Trasloseros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Santoro came out of the goal and Ciano Trasloseros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, Independiente's Jorg Pieters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zavier Wagner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zavier Wagner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorg Pieters in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodovico Javia got free with Pepe Santoro in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zavier Wagner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Beltran went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Fire Breathers FC's Teodovico Javia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ander Mees was slow to take the kick. During this time Fire Breathers FC's players had a chance to rest. Tabby Llosa made a great header on Fire Breathers FC's corner, it was just that Independiente's Pepe Santoro managed to reach the ball for a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Beltran to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albano Bertol in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zavier Wagner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodovico Javia took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With an all-out effort, Independiente's Zavier Wagner threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Beltran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sören Bengtsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Zavier Wagner made a huge save. In the 73rd minute of the match, Jorg Pieters got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zavier Wagner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Independiente's Serafín Berganza was substituted for Albano Bertol. After 77 minutes of play, Fire Breathers FC's Teodovico Javia made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Santoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th match minute, Fire Breathers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodovico Javia to maneuver through the defense. Independiente's Sören Bengtsson took a good shot, in the 81st minute, which hit the crossbar above Zavier Wagner's head, and flew over the goal. Fire Breathers FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Independiente. Independiente's Pepe Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakue Cameno in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Jakue Cameno came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorg Pieters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Zavier Wagner made a huge save. Pepe Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakue Cameno, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute Jakue Cameno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Jorg Pieters made a precise shot to the right of Zavier Wagner. Fire Breathers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Fire Breathers FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Independiente had controlled the match.
