Nikifor Vekov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Bladi in the 5th minute of play. Big Babousa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dario Costante in the 7th minute. Svetlozar Karamihov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhivko Shpatov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Haglund in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Svetlozar Karamihov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikifor Vekov having to interfere. Naycho Palyov kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Hector Bladi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Nikifor Vekov made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Hector Bladi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikifor Vekov was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th match minute, Big Babousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Big Babousa's Hector Bladi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nikifor Vekov. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Svetlozar Karamihov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Alfredo Di Stéfano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. JET-M made a substitution. Mirolyub Radin replaced Alfredo Di Stéfano. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Bladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to JET-M getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Naycho Palyov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Bladi in the 56th minute of play forced JET-M's goalkeeper Nikifor Vekov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naycho Palyov lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 58 played minutes JET-M got a freekick which was hit by Naycho Palyov. 68 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Mirolyub Radin came free, but Svetlozar Karamihov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hector Bladi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikifor Vekov was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. JET-M's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Bladi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Nikifor Vekov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Bladi in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes JET-M's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rick Sánchez who took care of the corner kick. If Ren Xi Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Hector Bladi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikifor Vekov was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The supporters of Big Babousa booed when JET-M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Haglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Big Babousa could leave the field as winners, despite JET-M having more of the ball for most of the match.
