Huang Jie Peng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. August Hoffmanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Huang Jie Peng came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruslan Plesca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Hoffmanns read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Antonio Cacciatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anestis Kotsopoulos to make the kick off. When Anestis Kotsopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Rot-Weiss-Essen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anestis Kotsopoulos couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Antonio Cacciatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ajax Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Cacciatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Hoffmanns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Cacciatore got free with August Hoffmanns in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Cacciatore struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. August Hoffmanns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax Academy. In the 64thth minute of the game Anestis Kotsopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ajax Academy's Dragos Enicov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Antonio Cacciatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Cacciatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Maximilian Henning got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ajax Academy's Marius Cazacu was substituted for Nicolae Carabulea. The supporters of Ajax Academy booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Henning didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Ajax Academy's Antonio Cacciatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that August Hoffmanns narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Mesut Özil got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Rot-Weiss-Essen defense, Antonio Cacciatore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of August Hoffmanns. The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that August Hoffmanns should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Cacciatore in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Hoffmanns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 minutes of play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Mesut Özil made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dragos Enicov was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Özil in the 83rd minute of play forced Ajax Academy's goalkeeper Dragos Enicov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. August Hoffmanns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Yan Bin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Cacciatore came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Mesut Özil got a free kick in the 89th minute. Maximilian Henning kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Antonio Cacciatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. August Hoffmanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
