Breizh Punishers's Teddy Michalon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Janič in the 10th minute of play. Teddy Michalon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yann Telle thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Teddy Michalon, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 1-4. In the 43rd minute Marek Janič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddy Michalon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Breizh Punishers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Joanny to maneuver through the defense. Ján Tuleja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samir Gallien's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half FC Melon were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Breizh Punishers made a substitution. Faouzi Lancelle replaced Samir Gallien. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thierry Auroy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomáš Guzy got free with Teddy Michalon in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ján Tuleja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jocelyn Care in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Thierry Auroy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ján Tuleja was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Faouzi Lancelle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ján Tuleja. FC Melon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faouzi Lancelle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After 61 minutes of play, FC Melon's Peter Holub made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teddy Michalon was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Melon's Tomáš Semenník was substituted for Jaromír Mojžiš. Ján Tuleja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernand Joanny in the 70th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Thierry Auroy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Melon's Ján Tuleja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jocelyn Care in the 71st minute of play. Teddy Michalon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Holub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Holub in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teddy Michalon saved Breizh Punishers from getting behind. In the 78th minute Thierry Auroy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Tuleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 80 in the game by Marek Janič from a close distance when the talented Teddy Michalon managed to make a qualified save. Breizh Punishers's players were relieved. FC Melon were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Breizh Punishers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matej Adamec took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Breizh Punishers's goalie and right to Erik Žitňár. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Breizh Punishers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fernand Joanny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ján Tuleja having to make a save.
