The supporters of UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Minichiello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Armando Polidori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 8 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Coelho came free, but Armando Polidori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Nilmar Coelho put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Polidori. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Minichiello in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Paulo Bezerra saved UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Ernesto Minichiello put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of José Paulo Bezerra. After a rather tough play, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Rios Ferdinand got a free kick in the 17th minute. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ernesto Minichiello sped through UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Paulo Bezerra. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by XMAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nilmar Coelho was slow to take the kick. During this time UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's players had a chance to rest. Ernesto Minichiello scored 1-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Paulo Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Minichiello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. José Paulo Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Paulo Bezerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Minichiello went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After 39 minutes XMAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nilmar Coelho who took care of the corner kick. Comunardo Quadrini hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Polidori having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Coelho came free, but Armando Polidori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilmar Coelho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Armando Polidori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Alvaro Aversano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilmar Coelho to make the kick off. José Paulo Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Gianfrancesco in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Coelho in the 58th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Nilmar Coelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Polidori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. If Nilmar Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Minichiello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but José Paulo Bezerra made a huge save. XMAS's Armando Polidori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Coelho in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Coelho in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Polidori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Nilmar Coelho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Polidori quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. XMAS's Armando Polidori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Coelho in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Nilmar Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Coelho in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Polidori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Nilmar Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Polidori was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Dias in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Ibrahimovic in the 85th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nilmar Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C's Nilmar Coelho made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Polidori was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 played minutes UNƗÃØ ĐΔ CΔƗXΔ ₣C got a freekick which was hit by İbrahim Ibrahimovic.
