In the 9thth minute of the game Severino Bruggink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekerö IF's Arvin Bollström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sport Club Abrilense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Rüdy in the 10th minute. Antoni Zywiec struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Loris Karius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekerö IF. Thanks to some nice moves Freddie Wikander could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Loris Karius however easily saved by the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Ekerö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Bruggink came free, but Arvin Bollström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, one of Sport Club Abrilense:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sport Club Abrilense. The goalkeeper, Loris Karius, was totally fooled by Ekerö IF's Freddie Wikander, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 31 minutes into the match, Ekerö IF's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Catarinense came free, but Arvin Bollström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvin Bollström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bruggink in the 35th minute of play. Joel Perälä kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Sport Club Abrilense's Joel Perälä fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Arvin Bollström was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. In the 40th minute Dan Rüdy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Bollström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddie Wikander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loris Karius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Freddie Wikander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cléber Catarinense was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléber Catarinense got free with Arvin Bollström in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvin Bollström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléber Catarinense in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekerö IF's goalkeeper Arvin Bollström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Arvin Bollström throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cléber Catarinense in the 62ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 65th minute of the match Freddie Wikander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loris Karius skillfully saved the ball. Arvin Bollström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléber Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Cléber Catarinense sped through Ekerö IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arvin Bollström. Andreas Siöman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigiusz Walec was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ekerö IF! In the 77th play minute Dan Rüdy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arvin Bollström. 2-3. The supporters of Sport Club Abrilense booed when Ekerö IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Wikander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loris Karius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Zywiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekerö IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Freddie Wikander in the 88th minute. It was a well-played corner which Bengt-Arne Biörnberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 91 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Biörnberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekerö IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Club Abrilense the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ekerö IF's Bengt-Arne Biörnberg got a free kick in the 91st minute. Sport Club Abrilense's Alto Garcon was substituted for Dan Rüdy. The Ekerö IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sport Club Abrilense's performance. The match ended with a win for Sport Club Abrilense.
