Senator S.A.K's Aykan Babür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suat Kaya in the 19th minute of play. Aykan Babür showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suat Kaya in the 20th minute of the match. If Suat Kaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jannes Van Leempoel made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Fabio Millrick sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Millrick. Thanks to some nice moves Fabio Millrick could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Jannes Van Leempoel however easily saved by the left post. Jannes Van Leempoel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Millrick went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Millrick in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jannes Van Leempoel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Suat Kaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Millrick in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jannes Van Leempoel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Fabio Millrick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jannes Van Leempoel was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Aykan Babür showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suat Kaya in the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Millrick to strike the kick off in the second half. Jannes Van Leempoel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fırat Çakıroğlu in the 80th minute of play. Vergil Rupov was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Senator S.A.K fans cheered their team off the field, for while Genk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
