The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when Somos Nosotros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Gerardo Lordi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mariano Mede was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, Somos Nosotros's goalkeeper Mariano Mede had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Lordi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Lordi got free with Mariano Mede in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Santa Margarita's Witomir Pisarczyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Mede made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Carmelo Gauargi hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Lordi in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Mede saved Somos Nosotros from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Gerardo Lordi made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Mede. Somos Nosotros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Mariano Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk in the 28th minute of play. Benjamin Demesio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Hasselqvist got free with Mariano Mede in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 34th minute of play forced Somos Nosotros's goalkeeper Mariano Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Mede came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi. But to his dismay, Gerardo Lordi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 38 minutes into the game, Andréas Hasselqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mariano Mede. Andréas Hasselqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Mariano Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Hasselqvist in the 41st minute of the match. With his leg Mariano Mede managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Witomir Pisarczyk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Mede came out and tried to block the shot, but Witomir Pisarczyk slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segundo Jago was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Andréas Hasselqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Mede was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The Santa Margarita fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Mauro Icardi replaced Witomir Pisarczyk. In the 61st minute Amador Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Mariano Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Icardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Mauro Icardi notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Somos Nosotros's Mariano Mede. Mariano Mede breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Icardi in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Mede prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Regis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Mariano Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Icardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Klaus Mohammadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Santa Margarita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
