Mariano Mede was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Podador Raheiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Podador Raheiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 15 minutes, Podador Raheiro made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Somos Nosotros's Mariano Mede tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Shepherd came free, but Ilkka Markkula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Podador Raheiro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Mede was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes in the game Rene Nesto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amador Shepherd. Mariano Mede didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Podador Raheiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Zhi Chuan in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Mede saved Somos Nosotros from getting behind. After having played for 65 minutes, Yan Zhi Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guillermo Regis's late challenge caught a Club Deportes Santa Cruz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Regis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Deportes Santa Cruz booed when Somos Nosotros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Mede was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
