In the 17th minute, Gerardo Lordi made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Mede. Somos Nosotros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 20th minute Witomir Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Mede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström got control of the ball when Amador Shepherd tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Mede was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Andréas Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mariano Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Mede took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 41st minute of play forced Somos Nosotros's goalkeeper Mariano Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Gerardo Lordi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Somos Nosotros's Mariano Mede. Mariano Mede was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Andréas Hasselqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Mede was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Gerardo Lordi took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Mariano Mede to make any attempt to save it. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Mauro Icardi replaced Witomir Pisarczyk. Santa Margarita's Klaus Mohammadi was substituted for Gerardo Lordi. Santa Margarita's Gonzalo Orixe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Benjamin Demesio in the 61 minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Somos Nosotros's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Icardi came free, but Mariano Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Mede made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mauro Icardi sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Santa Margarita's Wendell Davids was substituted for Enzo Peruxu. In the 73rd minute, Mauro Icardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Mariano Mede stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Icardi's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Somos Nosotros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Mauro Icardi scored to the left of an out of position Mariano Mede, making the score, 0-11. Mariano Mede was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauro Icardi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Santa Margarita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Somos Nosotros throughout the match.
