Marek Czech scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nektarios Roumeliotis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nektarios Roumeliotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Koller in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Głodne Ghule booed when San Siro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikitas Brizolakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Koller took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nektarios Roumeliotis. 56 minutes into the game, Głodne Ghule's Marek Czech nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nektarios Roumeliotis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Bartosz Arbaszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nektarios Roumeliotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Jan Koller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nektarios Roumeliotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nektarios Roumeliotis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Marek Czech who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Nektarios Roumeliotis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jan Koller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nektarios Roumeliotis having to interfere. Głodne Ghule were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after San Siro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Koller took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Siro's goalie and right to Roger Blom. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Siro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Czech in the 97th minute of play forced San Siro's goalkeeper Nektarios Roumeliotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Głodne Ghule's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
