The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gordon Zamora came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hummerfiskarna's Andrea De Toro. But to his dismay, Andrea De Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gordon Zamora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrea De Toro's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Senin Rabu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Gordon Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolli Bolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Narciso Jenaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Holger Mattsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Holger Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacy Falke in the 25th minute of play. Gordon Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea De Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Hummerfiskarna's Arnaldo Queirós was substituted for Andrea De Toro. Ulises Gutierrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Holger Mattsson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 43rd minute of play forced MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Gordon Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Romildo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Florin Răducioiu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 46 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gordon Zamora right hand side. After the first half Hummerfiskarna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Karl-Johan Lidman might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Holger Mattsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Johan Lidman ran back to his position shaking his head. Florin Răducioiu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 57th playminute. Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Arnau in the 79th minute of play. Holger Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Falke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Maximino Arnau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Gordon Zamora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 91st minute. Arnaldo Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gordon Zamora made a huge save. The Hummerfiskarna players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
