Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lyuben Dimiev made the kick off which started today's match. Miguel Ángel Benito took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Sørensen. Thomas Sørensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The throw-in from Yngve Johnstad in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cascadia United's Wang Di Yi. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyuben Dimiev in the 11th minute of the match. Thomas Sørensen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Ángel Benito's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Eero Grönholm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonel Rocco, 1-2. Antonio Dino scored 2-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Rocco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes of play, Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Sørensen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute Miguel Ángel Benito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Sørensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lyuben Dimiev came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Grivata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyuben Dimiev couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyuben Dimiev in the 37th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, FC Grivata's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ángel Benito came free, but Thomas Sørensen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iván Pillud hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Lyuben Dimiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Rocco having to interfere. Cascadia United's Constantino Neto was substituted for Abel Neron. After the first half Cascadia United were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Ángel Benito to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonel Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Dino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Benito in the 58th minute of play forced FC Grivata's goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Cascadia United got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Neto. In the 62ndth minute of the game Miguel Ángel Benito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Grivata's Thomas Sørensen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th match minute, FC Grivata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Dino to maneuver through the defense. FC Grivata's Thomas Sørensen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Grivata from getting a goal against them. FC Grivata's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Miguel Ángel Benito scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Sørensen, making the score, 2-5. After 72 minutes FC Grivata's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rene Pueblo who took care of the corner kick. When Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Grivata's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute Lyuben Dimiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascadia United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Ángel Benito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Flóki Konráðsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cascadia United's Leopold Greve quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leonel Rocco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyuben Dimiev in the 88th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes FC Grivata got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Dino. 89 minutes into the game, Miguel Ángel Benito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Thomas Sørensen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Lyuben Dimiev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Grivata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cascadia United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
