The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Oroni in the 21st minute of play. CLC Winter's Franco Bosso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Podwojski in the 26th minute of play. Ennio Di Iulio came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zenon Pleban could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in CLC Winter's zone, Karol Tomiczek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Bosso came out of the goal and Karol Tomiczek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Legia Warszawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qiu Yang in the 76th minute. A collision led to CLC Winter getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ciro Scutti hit a great ball. CLC Winter's Franco Bosso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save CLC Winter from getting a goal against them. Legia Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after CLC Winter's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qiu Yang took the corner. In the 85th minute Axel Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Bosso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
