Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alf Tanner kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Afonso came free, but Sorin Bobocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorin Bobocea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Afonso in the 9th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Emre Can got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sorin Bobocea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Costa came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Nestor Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Bobocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Costa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Characate FC's Benjamin Price. Benjamin Price was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Tanner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Francesco came free, but Sorin Bobocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Price was a little too slow when Ferdinand Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. Leopoldo Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Afonso to make the kick off. Sorin Bobocea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Afonso in the 50th minute. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Tanner, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Tanner in the 55th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Leopoldo Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Characate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balavanis's Sorin Bobocea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Balavanis from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Grigore Şoiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Afonso came free, but Sorin Bobocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Alf Tanner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Bobocea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Tanner in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Şoiman came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Grigore Şoiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Avram Barascu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Balavanis got a freekick which was hit by Avram Barascu. Zacarias Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Benjamin Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Tanner in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Balavanis's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Afonso came free, but Sorin Bobocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Characate FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
