In the 6th minute, Shi Ming got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute Shi Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Shi Ming came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Terremoto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shi Ming couldn't finish the play. If Shi Ming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, AFC Cherries's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Ming came free, but Guto Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Låsberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenneth Libesoons came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaj Låsberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming in the 22nd minute of play forced AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guto Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Ming, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Uriel Sesuldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming in the 35th minute of play forced AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming in the 37th minute of play. Godfredo Barroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Libesoons having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming in the 43rd minute of play forced AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Shi Ming who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when AFC Cherries was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeki Engintalay didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaj Låsberg to make the kick off. Terremoto FC's Benicio Sugar pulled a muscle in his leg after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Vít Ambros charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vít Ambros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Vít Ambros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd match minute, AFC Cherries was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radek Rokos to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th match minute, AFC Cherries was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Cuenca to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AFC Cherries's Luciano Cuenca got a free kick in the 56th minute. Kenneth Libesoons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Cuenca in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes Terremoto FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luciano Cuenca who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Zeki Engintalay managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Cherries from getting a goal against them. Terremoto FC's Jeremias Macedo was substituted for Shi Ming. The corner ended in Luciano Cuenca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons did a great save. Vít Ambros struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Kenneth Libesoons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Cherries. If Jeremias Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guto Jacinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Terremoto FC got a corner. AFC Cherries's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hilario Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Terremoto FC's Hilario Duarte was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guto Jacinto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
