An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Bertoglio in the 12th minute of play forced IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper Emanuel Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Facundo Bertoglio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Drambas in the 17th minute of play forced IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper Emanuel Sigfridsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, IKS Norrköping's goalkeeper Emanuel Sigfridsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Bertoglio. Facundo Bertoglio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Sigfridsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Facundo Bertoglio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. Tulkas Vala kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Marcus Hedström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Piechna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Ekeberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Simon Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Piechna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vassilis Drambas charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vassilis Drambas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Emanuel Sigfridsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. IKS Norrköping made a substitution. Per-Åke Holmgren replaced Simon Dahlman. After a rather tough play, IKS Norrköping's Pelle Jönsätt got a free kick in the 86th minute. IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Fågel in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Daníel Sundgren made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. IKS Norrköping's Emanuel Sigfridsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
