Nibiru X's Renato Kilpatrick was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flávio Terra in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. SC Conceição's Flávio Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro De Gavardo in the 9th minute of play. Despite this Flávio Terra quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 26th minute Isidro De Gavardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. León Collado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio Terra having to interfere. Flávio Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro De Gavardo in the 37th minute of play. Flávio Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Bombal in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Isidro De Gavardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nibiru X's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro De Gavardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flávio Terra came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Nibiru X's Isidro De Gavardo. But to his dismay, Isidro De Gavardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in SC Conceição's zone, Isidro De Gavardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flávio Terra came out of the goal and Isidro De Gavardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Darío Friederichs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Cedro in the 87th minute of play. Flávio Terra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Román Grebe's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Flávio Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Román Grebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. SC Conceição's Flávio Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Faine in the 96th minute of play.
