After 13 minutes, Alex Vallin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Aron Dahlbom managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Nueva Chicago's Andrei Agulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Andrei Agulescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Aron Dahlbom to make any attempt to save it. 20 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when George Svensson came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Konsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Wassberg in the 23rd minute of the match. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 郑誉真, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunde Svan in the 26th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Patrik Konsel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MAFFIAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Nueva Chicago's Andrei Agulescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aron Dahlbom. That made the score 4-1 after 47 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrik Konsel made a kick off. In the 54th minute Patrik Konsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Patrik Konsel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Aron Dahlbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michel Kjellkvist hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Konsel in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Dahlbom saved MAFFIAN from getting behind. In the 89thth minute of the game Patrik Konsel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nueva Chicago's Patrik Konsel in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Andrei Agulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Vallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Santiago Cañizares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the MAFFIAN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nueva Chicago.
