Aragorn were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Misericordia EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fedele Moretti took the corner. Aragorn's Fedele Moretti was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Leão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedro Luís Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedele Moretti might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 38th minute Altuğ Yakup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Vertonghen to maneuver through the defense. Altuğ Yakup took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Leão. Paulo Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altuğ Yakup in the 44th minute of play forced Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Paulo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Aragorn's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Luz came free, but Andrés Casado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Luz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrés Casado. The wind increased when Valdomiro Luz made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Tokarczyk in the 55th minute of play. Andrés Casado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Luz in the 63rd minute of play. When Pedro Luís Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Misericordia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Amaral couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão got control of the ball when Altuğ Yakup tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aragorn made a substitution. Topo Lino replaced Elian Müller. Dário Ribeiro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The long shot by Fedele Moretti in the 73rd minute really tested Paulo Leão's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gualter Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Paulo Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Zuraw in the 75th minute of play. Feliks Orszak hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Aragorn's Topo Lino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Leão. Paulo Leão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Misericordia EC from getting a goal against them. Aragorn's Andrés Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Tinoco in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Jeremias Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Misericordia EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
