In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sparta Torex's goalkeeper Dominik Kornatowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Radomil Pisarcik came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Sparta Torex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Pisarcik couldn't finish the play. If Faustão Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Buczko in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Sparta Torex's Dominik Kornatowski got control of the ball when Valdomiro Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Domamir in the 24th minute of the match. Dominik Kornatowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro Luz in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Bartosz Jaktorowo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sparta Torex and the Misericordia EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoni Domamir to make the kick off. Dominik Kornatowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Maravilha in the 52nd minute of play. Dominik Kornatowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Misericordia EC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute of the match, Bartosz Jaktorowo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo Leão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Jeremias Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Paulo Leão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Tinoco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Kornatowski was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jeremias Tinoco sped through Sparta Torex's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dominik Kornatowski. Wit Buczko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Paulo Leão made a huge save. Paulo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Domamir in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Jeremias Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Kornatowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Jaktorowo in the 97th minute of play. Misericordia EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
