The corner led to S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 9th minute Johannes Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a corner. The Charlatans's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciro da Silveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Nilsson in the 14th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Johannes Kruuse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Charlatans's Ingvar Svensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, S.C. After 28 minutes of play, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Svensson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehdi Brasselet hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Johannes Kruuse took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Svensson. Ingvar Svensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Johannes Kruuse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingvar Svensson having to make a save. In the 37th minute of the match, Johannes Kruuse tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ingvar Svensson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 39 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Nilsson came free, but Fırat Aytekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Kruuse in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Svensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41stth minute of the game Johannes Kruuse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Charlatans's Ingvar Svensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fırat Aytekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Svensson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Johannes Kruuse. But to his dismay, Johannes Kruuse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nils-Åke Nilsson made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to S.C. Corinthians Paulista getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mehdi Brasselet hit a great ball. Johannes Kruuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Zuberoa Ezquerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Johan Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fırat Aytekin was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Ingvar Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuberoa Ezquerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Zuberoa Ezquerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ingvar Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Charlatans's Ingvar Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuberoa Ezquerra in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Bäckman got free with Fırat Aytekin in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Fırat Aytekin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
