The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Fortun Corrillos came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Oylimpiamos Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fortun Corrillos couldn't finish the play. Koen Rijmenams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Nilsson in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match The Charlatans got a corner. Oylimpiamos Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Simon Bäckman ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Elliot Åberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Eric Asmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Bartolo Bachicabo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Robustiano Peruanton made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Charlatans's Ingvar Svensson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ingvar Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Peruanton in the 25th minute of play. Ingvar Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Peruanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 47th match minute, Oylimpiamos Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordario Pierredonda to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, The Charlatans's Simon Bäckman tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Åke Nilsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Koen Rijmenams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Åberg in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, The Charlatans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Bäckman to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Svensson made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Bartolo Bachicabo sent off a good shot on target. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Koen Rijmenams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Åberg in the 60th minute of play. Fortun Corrillos in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ingvar Svensson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Oylimpiamos Ψ booed when The Charlatans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Viberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match, Robustiano Peruanton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ingvar Svensson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Charlatans's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rik Quexada was slow to take the kick. During this time Oylimpiamos Ψ's players had a chance to rest. In the 72nd minute Elliot Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koen Rijmenams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Peruanton took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Svensson. Ingvar Svensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Gregory Neila was substituted for Robustiano Peruanton. Ingvar Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selatse Cantillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortun Corrillos got free with Ingvar Svensson in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Koen Rijmenams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Granström, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ingvar Svensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fortun Corrillos in the 97th minute.
