An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Malik in the 24th minute of play forced El Pasteral F.C's goalkeeper Kevin Verdu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when El Pasteral F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Verdu came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Benicio Osasun. But to his dismay, Benicio Osasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Benicio Osasun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Verdu was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Benicio Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Verdu having to interfere. Rami Barroso kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benicio Osasun made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Zygmunt Malik fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kevin Verdu, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guter Llinares in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aytek Samin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as El Retorno de Palermo's Mikus Linkūns slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kevin Verdu. That made the score 0-4 after 62 minutes of play. Martin Videl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kevin Verdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Verdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Malik, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Iván Bermudez's late challenge caught a El Retorno de Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zygmunt Malik was slow to take the kick. During this time El Retorno de Palermo's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Siro Serapio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 79th minute, Monte Feria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikus Linkūns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Verdu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikus Linkūns in the 86th minute. El Retorno de Palermo's Aytek Samin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Silvestre in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Gáspár Nyilasi. In the 94th minute of the match Emmanuel Soler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aytek Samin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guter Llinares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over El Retorno de Palermo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Pasteral F.C throughout the match.
