The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, El Pasteral F.C's Xaime Campoamor got control of the ball when Benicio Osasun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xaime Campoamor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Malik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Huang Zhen Bo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Pasteral F.C's Xaime Campoamor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Videl in the 17th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Serapio Cazorla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xaime Campoamor came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Benicio Osasun. But to his dismay, Benicio Osasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benicio Osasun got free with Xaime Campoamor in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. El Pasteral F.C's Xaime Campoamor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Malik in the 39th minute of play. Mikus Linkūns struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Xaime Campoamor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Retorno de Palermo. The El Retorno de Palermo fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when El Retorno de Palermo's Zygmunt Malik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cyryl Marczyniec charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cyryl Marczyniec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cyryl Marczyniec kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Uriel Silvestre made the kick off in the second half. Xaime Campoamor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikus Linkūns, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Mikus Linkūns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zygmunt Malik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Xaime Campoamor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zygmunt Malik took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xaime Campoamor. Xaime Campoamor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 66 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's Benicio Osasun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xaime Campoamor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xaime Campoamor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Pasteral F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 85 minutes into the game, Monte Feria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Aytek Samin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Mingo Villafane fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Pasteral F.C's protests and gave Mingo Villafane a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when El Pasteral F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mingo Villafane didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Benicio Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xaime Campoamor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Zygmunt Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Retorno de Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Malik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Malik in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xaime Campoamor saved El Pasteral F.C from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Retorno de Palermo fully deserved thier win.
