Icoara Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Özmen Gazzali ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Şentürk Kose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Mosiniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dito Ramos in the 27th minute. Durval Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anatolia FC. The Icoara Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anatolia FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dito Ramos to make the kick off. Durval Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halim Tuğ in the 52nd minute of the match.
