Enrique Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Pacifico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Sindo in the 5th minute of play forced Paladar Negro FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Edur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Enrique Nayely came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Paladar Negro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Nayely couldn't finish the play. Paladar Negro FC's Aquilino Edur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Blanco in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Narciso Sindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Sindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Edur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Sindo to maneuver through the defense. Abel Ursini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Pacifico having to interfere. Narciso Sindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Edur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Sindo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Narciso Sindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Edur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paladar Negro FC's Aquilino Edur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Blanco in the 25th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Paladar Negro FC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Admon. Patricio Rey Futbol Club were furious when Rafael Cidro was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 30 minutes into the game, one of Patricio Rey Futbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 35th match minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Benvide to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Ursini came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Patricio Rey Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Harri. Ciriaco Baldovino hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Virgilio Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Ursini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Jaizki in the 53rd minute of play. Faustino Jaizki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Pacifico having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Paladar Negro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Nayely to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Ursini in the 64th minute of the match. Abel Ursini took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Pacifico. Virgilio Pacifico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 66 played minutes Paladar Negro FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Jaizki. 68 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Jaizki came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Virgilio Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Ursini in the 74th minute of play. Paladar Negro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alejandro Anaya in the 75th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Demario couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Jaizki came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pastor Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paladar Negro FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Patricio Rey Futbol Club for a fine match.
