In the 38th minute Mamutes EC were awarded a corner. Valério Meireles went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Panno in the 44th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Andy Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soda f c's Andy Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Soda f c from getting a goal against them. After the first half Soda f c were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dave Panno made the kick off in the second half. Andy Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Panno's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Dave Panno put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Andy Garcia. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ümit Daman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soda f c's supporters rose to their feet, but Ümit Daman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magno Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Cazador got free with Magno Correia in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Soda f c's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Panno came free, but Andy Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soda f c made a substitution. Günalp Parskan replaced Victorino Nesto. In the 78th minute of the game 邱邦岚 made a throw-in which Valério Meireles played forward. A collision led to Soda f c getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gugu Guimarães hit a great ball. Mamutes EC's Valdo Dantas was substituted for Dave Panno. Andy Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Dantas in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Valério Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valério Meireles in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Garcia saved Soda f c from getting behind. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Valdo Dantas sped through Soda f c's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andy Garcia. Soda f c's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mamutes EC had won, even though Soda f c had held more of the ball.
