When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Diaz made a kick off. After 75 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Trigo. Miklós Páncsics was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Gyál United fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 92 minutes into the game, Rubens Tasso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gyál United's Január Csillag quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
