In the 8th minute, Lucas Pimentel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Crişan Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Lukasz Bronder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ryszard Wnukowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Flores in the 12th minute of the match. A hard shot 16 in the game by Giotis Kourmouzis from a close distance when the talented Crişan Taffarel managed to make a qualified save. Ciclista FC's players were relieved. Giotis Kourmouzis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Crişan Taffarel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Crişan Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giotis Kourmouzis in the 19th minute. A collision led to Ciclista FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Amador Francesco hit a great ball. Giotis Kourmouzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenal's Giotis Kourmouzis came free and shot a quick shot against goal 25 minutes in the game, fortunately Crişan Taffarel had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Crişan Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Faron in the 27th minute. Crişan Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giotis Kourmouzis in the 29th minute of the match. Giotis Kourmouzis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Crişan Taffarel made a huge save. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ciclista FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Giotis Kourmouzis made a precise shot to the right of Crişan Taffarel. Ciclista FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Ciclista FC's zone, Artur Faron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Crişan Taffarel came out of the goal and Artur Faron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Faron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Crişan Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Crişan Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Fanström, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th match minute, Ciclista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Cordara to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 61 minutes, Giotis Kourmouzis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giotis Kourmouzis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Faron in the 63rd minute of play. Amador Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cenan Savlet kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Ciclista FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Cordara. In the 74th minute Lucas Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Arsenal's corner Giotis Kourmouzis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Crişan Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. Ryszard Wnukowski made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Rigoberto Flores sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Flores got free with Ryszard Wnukowski in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arsenal's Artur Faron got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ciclista FC defense, Lukasz Bronder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Crişan Taffarel. The Ciclista FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Crişan Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Lukasz Bronder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crişan Taffarel having to interfere. With a little luck, Arsenal's Ryszard Wnukowski got control of the ball when Dario Benedetto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Osorio charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Osorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ciclista FC's Justo Osorio got a free kick in the 94th minute.
