Juvenal Sergipano was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Esequiel Barco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esequiel Barco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 14th minute, Curumalán AFC's Esequiel Barco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juvenal Sergipano. Juvenal Sergipano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 21 minutes in the game Thomás Borges did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nae Buteanu. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE! Lin Mo Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lobo Zornoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esequiel Barco didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-1 via right post in the game's 42nd minute. Curumalán AFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Curumalán AFC made a substitution. Efrain Ferman replaced Witold Ledochowski. Curumalán AFC's Daniel Resende was substituted for Juan Guerrero. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esequiel Barco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Placido Fernado hit a great ball. Daniel Resende scored 4-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juvenal Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 minutes of play, Curumalán AFC's Esequiel Barco made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Célio Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lin Mo Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esequiel Barco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes of play, Curumalán AFC's Esequiel Barco made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Curumalán AFC's Emmanuel Gigliotti was substituted for Daniel Resende. Lin Mo Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lobo Zornoza in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match, Amado Froila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lin Mo Hong saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 81 minutes into the game, Placido Fernado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curumalán AFC the free kick. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Amado Froila got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Emmanuel Gigliotti came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Curumalán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Gigliotti couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Curumalán AFC had won after a very even match.
