Cordairo Segura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rey Ronaldo in the 18th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Cordairo Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carqueja's Cordairo Segura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Quan Di in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Quan Di in the 28th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Cordairo Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Lucena kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Yu Quan Di shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cordairo Segura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Luganeros AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a little luck, Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro got control of the ball when Mario Vielva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luganeros AFC's Amancio Claris was substituted for Yu Quan Di. After the first half Luganeros AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elizardo Massana to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cordairo Segura was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 minutes, Elizardo Massana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carqueja and the Luganeros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elizardo Massana hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Luis Vázquez replaced Rey Ronaldo. In the 58th minute, Elizardo Massana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordairo Segura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Vázquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Vázquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
