Fabio Betadur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarl Torsberg's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Bengt Byström was a little too slow when Humberto Leocadio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. Betinho Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Bengt Byström made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolphe De Coster in the 21st minute of play forced LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper Fabio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt Byström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Leocadio in the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Humberto Leocadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Byström was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xayvion Ageitos in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Betadur saved LA DEL MONO from getting behind. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eugenio Truylos hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Olov Tunander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Bajenby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Tunander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt Byström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Leocadio's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes IFK Bajenby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Cordareo who took care of the corner kick. In the 47th minute, Octavio Ospetsu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xayvion Ageitos to make the kick off. Jarl Torsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Betadur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to IFK Bajenby getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Frans Strand hit a great ball. IFK Bajenby's Bengt Byström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Ospetsu in the 58th minute of play. Xayvion Ageitos struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Fabio Betadur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Bajenby. When LA DEL MONO's Humberto Leocadio in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Bajenby's goalie prevented a goal. 69 minutes into the match, IFK Bajenby's Jarl Torsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Betadur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, LA DEL MONO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Quintan to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur got control of the ball when Adolphe De Coster tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Elpidio Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarl Torsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eustacio Bela hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Betinho Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA DEL MONO's supporters rose to their feet, but Betinho Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Byström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Leocadio in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Byström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. IFK Bajenby were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
