Jonas Fantini's late challenge caught a LA DEL MONO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the game, Anderson Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Natingui FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA DEL MONO the free kick. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when Natingui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Natingui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Cheche came free, but Alisson Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Natingui FC's Lars-Erik Gustafsson got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in LA DEL MONO's zone, Jonas Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Betadur came out of the goal and Jonas Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Leocadio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Betadur made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Eliseu Guerra sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Fantini hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Nicolas Cheche came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the LA DEL MONO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Cheche couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Eliseu Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Natingui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Betadur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Octavio Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA DEL MONO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Ospetsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natingui FC's Eliseu Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 53rd minute of play forced Natingui FC's goalkeeper Alisson Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Natingui FC booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 58th minute of the match. Alisson Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Leocadio in the 60th minute. Natingui FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Humberto Leocadio scored to the left of an out of position Alisson Taffarel, making the score, 0-2. Edelmiro Paskal kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Alisson Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Octavio Ospetsu sent off a good shot on target. Alisson Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Humberto Leocadio sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th match minute, Natingui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Guerra to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Guerra in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Betadur saved LA DEL MONO from getting behind. In the 76th minute Eliseu Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Alisson Taffarel managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when LA DEL MONO's Andres Quintan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alisson Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Leocadio's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Alisson Taffarel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Humberto Leocadio took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Alisson Taffarel to make any attempt to save it. Nicolas Cheche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Alisson Taffarel made a huge save. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Rigoberto Cordareo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Jonas Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LA DEL MONO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
