Alisson Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gregório Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregório Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alisson Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Armandinho da Costa made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lars-Erik Gustafsson immediately put the ball in play. Alisson Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Neiva in the 18th minute of play. Mira United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feng Cheng Ling in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Eliseu Guerra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Bonadona. The goal made the score 1-0. Alisson Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Ramires, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Natingui FC's Alisson Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregório Neiva in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alisson Taffarel saved Natingui FC from getting behind. Alisson Taffarel came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva. But to his dismay, Gregório Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alisson Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Gregório Neiva scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alisson Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute Gregório Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alisson Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Neiva in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Mira United FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Gregório Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Gregório Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Alisson Taffarel. Natingui FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Gregório Neiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alisson Taffarel having to make a save. Alisson Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Gregório Neiva sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alisson Taffarel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Natingui FC's Alisson Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Natingui FC from getting a goal against them. Gregório Neiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alisson Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Gregório Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gregório Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Alisson Taffarel made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alisson Taffarel. Alisson Taffarel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 86th minute of play. Gregório Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Alisson Taffarel made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mira United FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
