An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 5th minute of play forced Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregório Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 12 minutes, Feng Cheng Ling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mira United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feng Cheng Ling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alisson Taffarel. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Natingui FC's zone, Gregório Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alisson Taffarel came out of the goal and Gregório Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nel Ybarbo might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alisson Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nel Ybarbo ran back to his position shaking his head. Gregório Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alisson Taffarel. Alisson Taffarel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Alisson Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Neiva in the 31st minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Gregório Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Natingui FC's Alisson Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Armandinho da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Natingui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregório Neiva came free, but Alisson Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Alisson Taffarel was a little too slow when Gregório Neiva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gregório Neiva to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregório Neiva in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alisson Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Ademar Ramires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mira United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Natingui FC's zone, Gregório Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 70 played minutes Natingui FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Guerra. Gregório Neiva struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Alisson Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mira United FC. After a rather tough play, Natingui FC's Anderson Salgado got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Guerra. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gregório Neiva put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alisson Taffarel. Alisson Taffarel came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Mira United FC's Feng Cheng Ling. But to his dismay, Feng Cheng Ling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Gregório Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute Gregório Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mira United FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
