Birger Strømvad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erol Suer having to interfere. Erol Suer made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Birger Strømvad sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Amin Rostvold lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Erol Suer. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bishop Fazey in the 15th minute of the match. Kenneth Strandsgaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Timmi Egstrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson managed to work through Amager FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jan Persson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Persson in the 41st minute of play forced Amager FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Strandsgaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Büyükçekmece FC. got a freekick which was hit by Paul Basarab. After a rather tough play, Amager FC's Timmi Egstrand got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Jan Persson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Amager FC's Kenneth Strandsgaard. Kenneth Strandsgaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
