Jabaquara SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Fenomeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Boniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulinho Fenomeno charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulinho Fenomeno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Rainerio in the 5th minute of play. Niyazi Derim made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Elvio Rainerio sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim got control of the ball when Edgard Herauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Paulão Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Paulinho Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jabaquara SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21st play minutes Elvio Rainerio shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Niyazi Derim and just under the crossbar into goal. Ruperto Hever charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 26th minute, Paulinho Fenomeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Boniel having to interfere. The supporters of Jabaquara SC booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 39th minute of the match Ruperto Hever completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ruperto Hever a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of EL PEPO FC booed when Jabaquara SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Rainerio got free with Niyazi Derim in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Rainerio in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niyazi Derim saved Jabaquara SC from getting behind. With his leg Niyazi Derim managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when EL PEPO FC's Elvio Rainerio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulão Diniz to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Pascual Rey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL PEPO FC and the Jabaquara SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jabaquara SC booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Loren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Camerino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Diniz got free with Ezequiel Boniel in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elvio Rainerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulinho Fenomeno hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Salvino in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elvio Rainerio in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niyazi Derim saved Jabaquara SC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elvio Rainerio in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niyazi Derim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
