Domingo Bulnes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Adriano van Beek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Adriano van Beek managed to get in a good position for a shot. ✪ XV de Umarizal's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano van Beek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Bai Yan Yong. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano van Beek in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Acácio Lara saved Club Athletico Paulistano from getting behind. Domingo Bulnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Athletico Paulistano's zone, Adriano van Beek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Lara came out of the goal and Adriano van Beek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Adriano van Beek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Club Athletico Paulistano getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zé Paulo de Senna hit a great ball. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Trancoso in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th minute Fabinho dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Athletico Paulistano fans cheered their team off the field, for while ✪ XV de Umarizal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
