The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Altino Lameirinhas came free, but Tiaguinho da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Undertakers FC's Ace Mace played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Rodrigues in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Undertakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Mølgaard to maneuver through the defense. Undertakers FC's Ace Mace proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Undertakers FC from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Undertakers FC's goalkeeper Ace Mace had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Paraíba. Undertakers FC's Ace Mace played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Paraíba in the 20th minute of play. Lavrits Fakstrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho da Cunha having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Paraíba got free with Ace Mace in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ace Mace took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jens-Erik Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Undertakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Bendt Birkemark. Jacinto Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiaguinho da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Erik Stephansson's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Jarbas da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes, Peter Hellgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Undertakers FC and the Xapetuba Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Undertakers FC's Ace Mace got control of the ball when Jacinto Paraíba tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lucian Bercea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho da Cunha having to interfere. If Lucian Bercea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Flávio Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ace Mace didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xapetuba Futebol Clube. Jens-Erik Stephansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ace Mace showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Neiva in the 98th minute of the match.
