To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murilo Cabral in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dean Watts, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dean Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Cabral in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauder Franklin to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Art Kidman to maneuver through the defense. LauerArmy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Pereira in the 30th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Marcus Roach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amputees FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Roach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murilo Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dean Watts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Dean Watts made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Arí Pereira sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's Arí Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dean Watts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. William Kock took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dean Watts. Amputees FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Cabral to make the kick off. Dean Watts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murilo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56thth minute of the game Murilo Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Dean Watts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. LauerArmy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Konstanty Kojder in the 57th minute. The corner led LauerArmy's Konstanty Kojder to fire away a dangerous shot which Dean Watts despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dean Watts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Cabral's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Dean Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Cabral in the 60th minute of the match. Murilo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Radowit Budrewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Watts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LauerArmy's Angelo Teixeira was substituted for William Kock. LauerArmy's Dida Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save LauerArmy from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Amputees FC's Abraham Laing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Nilmar Barbosa hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match, Abraham Laing got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dida Nascimento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Amputees FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
