An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Joks in the 26th minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Amputees FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dean Watts should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Amputees FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Lauder Franklin hit a great ball. Dean Watts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Vargas's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 40 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauder Franklin. Dean Watts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abraham Laing made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Abraham Laing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amputees FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Laing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ed Royans was slow to take the kick. During this time Amputees FC's players had a chance to rest. If Andrzej Joks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Amputees FC's Dean Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Joks in the 71st minute of play. Roger Sinden lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
