A collision led to El Fortín de Floresta getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Delmar Manex hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gergely Hámori during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 minutes of play, El Fortín de Floresta's Cipriano Aguilera made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kornél Hajdú was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Konstanty Dzierwa came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Szentgotthárd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstanty Dzierwa couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Salvador Hats notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Szentgotthárd's Kornél Hajdú. Kornél Hajdú was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 played minutes Szentgotthárd got a freekick which was hit by Gergely Hámori. 70 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when József Sallói came free, but Santos Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bálint Battai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstanty Dzierwa took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Orlan. Santos Orlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 95 minutes into the match, Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Kornél Hajdú had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Stanislao.
