In the 7thth minute of the game Tadeo Ederono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Paunero's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Brites came free, but Albino Inguma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Cilli scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tales Falcão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albino Inguma made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Isaias Fonda sent off a good shot on target. After 18 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Cilli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Cilli in the 21st minute of play forced Imperio Cordobés FC's goalkeeper Tales Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 40th minute of the match Paunero got a corner. Imperio Cordobés FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jose Rosario ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Paunero's Jose Rosario to fire away a dangerous shot which Tales Falcão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Paunero were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Fonda to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sabino Brites had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Inguma. Paunero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Brites was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 56th minute of the match, Aristide Iureș tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tales Falcão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tales Falcão came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Paunero's Aristide Iureș. But to his dismay, Aristide Iureș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Paunero's Vinicio Palos was substituted for Cristian Peli. Paunero made a substitution. Ata Cante replaced Higinio Ticho. Tales Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Iureș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Francesco Cilli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tales Falcão was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Tales Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Imperio Cordobés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Iureș came free, but Tales Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Tales Falcão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paunero's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
