Cristobal Lalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heiko Som. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Lalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Raimundo Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Gustavo Anatibia in the 7th minute of play. When Cristobal Lalla fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA InDuStRiA INC's protests and gave Cristobal Lalla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Cristobal Lalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen got a freekick which was hit by Jorn Spannenburg. Raimundo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Kleinman in the 18th minute of the match. Cristobal Lalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heiko Som. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Lalla ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, LA InDuStRiA INC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacco Hoving came free, but Raimundo Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Newman in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Obano saved LA InDuStRiA INC from getting behind. Raimundo Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Newman in the 31st minute of play. Tomás Leoncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Heiko Som made a huge save. LA InDuStRiA INC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás Leoncio in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the LA InDuStRiA INC defense, Kevin Newman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Obano. The LA InDuStRiA INC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Obano should have stopped the shot. Saverio Reyes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristobal Lalla to strike the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Gustavo Anatibia in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match De Ontembare Leeuwen got a corner. LA InDuStRiA INC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raymond Heersprink ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Newman in the 53rd minute of play forced LA InDuStRiA INC's goalkeeper Raimundo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA InDuStRiA INC's Raimundo Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Heersprink in the 55th minute of play. Ernest Kleinmans short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Raimundo Obano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Cristobal Lalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raimundo Obano. That made the score 0-2 after 61 minutes of play. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Heiko Som played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Leoncio in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, LA InDuStRiA INC's goalkeeper Raimundo Obano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacco Hoving. In the 67th minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jacco Hoving ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raimundo Obano. Raimundo Obano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in De Ontembare Leeuwen's zone, Arturo Perpinya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heiko Som came out of the goal and Arturo Perpinya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Chabanenko came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raimundo Obano could save by the left post. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when LA InDuStRiA INC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Obano made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Jacco Hoving sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Arturo Perpinya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heiko Som was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Heiko Som took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Leoncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heiko Som didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Perpinya went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. De Ontembare Leeuwen made a substitution. Sander Spoel replaced Ernest Kleinman. When the match was over De Ontembare Leeuwen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LA InDuStRiA INC throughout the match.
