Thor Smitt was slow to take the kick. During this time Huaröd's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Huaröd's corner Thor Smitt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aron Vikström quite easily take care of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goalkeeper Aron Vikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sture Brogren. Karl-Magnus Håning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Vikström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Joar Valrot made a precise shot to the right of Aron Vikström. Karlsborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Classon to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Strömbom kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Algot Brandin made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 29thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Aron Vikström would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Aron Vikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Strömbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sture Brogren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 34th playminute. With an all-out effort, Huaröd's Aron Vikström threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joar Valrot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee ignored Karlsborg's protests and gave Matthias Borre a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Karlsborg's Matthias Borre got a free kick in the 46th minute. Stefan Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aron Vikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Karlsborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Magnus Håning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 59 minutes into the game, Huaröd's Sture Brogren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Vikström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Sture Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Vikström having to interfere. In the 66th minute Sture Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Vikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Strömbom came free, but Aron Vikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Karlsborg booed when Huaröd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Strömbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Joel Classon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Tord Forsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aron Vikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Strömbom in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Stefan Strömbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Vikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
