Olívio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Willem-Jan Grootjans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olívio Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Mehmet Rakim came free, but Olívio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Noel Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fre van Eijnde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilson Massa during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los Bacanas FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nilson Massa hit a great ball. Abdi Mehmet Rakim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Abdi Mehmet Rakim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Arruda. Los Bacanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdi Mehmet Rakim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans sped through Los Bacanas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olívio Arruda. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play, The Everett Hawks's Abdi Mehmet Rakim made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! 0-6 became the score in the 37th minute when Abdi Mehmet Rakim elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fre van Eijnde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Mehmet Rakim came free, but Olívio Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes, Willem-Jan Grootjans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Everett Hawks and the Los Bacanas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdi Mehmet Rakim was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans got free with Olívio Arruda in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fre van Eijnde in the 55th minute of play forced Los Bacanas FC's goalkeeper Olívio Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olívio Arruda came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by The Everett Hawks's Abdi Mehmet Rakim. But to his dismay, Abdi Mehmet Rakim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Abdi Mehmet Rakim might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olívio Arruda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdi Mehmet Rakim ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Fre van Eijnde put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Olívio Arruda. After 65 minutes of play, The Everett Hawks's Philippe-Arnaud Heremans made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 69 minutes, Abdi Mehmet Rakim made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Bacanas FC's Olívio Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Bacanas FC from getting a goal against them. Olívio Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Fronczak in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute Abdi Mehmet Rakim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Abdi Mehmet Rakim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olívio Arruda, 0-14. Olívio Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Everett Hawks played a much better game than Los Bacanas FC and deserved their victory. The Los Bacanas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
