In the 5th minute, Vinícius Junior made a precise shot to the right of Hugon Lenertej. SS SuperSonics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doriva Tavares in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugon Lenertej prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Vinícius Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korneliusz Panasewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Péter Pálffy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Korneliusz Panasewicz made the kick off in the second half.
